In the last ten years, the construction of warehouses and logistics bases has been quite dynamic. In addition to large Bulgarian and foreign companies, more and more medium-sized and small-volume producers and manufacturers and/or traders are looking for a way to have a logistics warehouse in the country. The high-quality lighting of such a site or building will certainly contribute to the better operation of the building and will save the owner and users of the building many problems and inconvenience. It can also significantly reduce costs and contribute to the better performance of people inside the premises. In order to avoid a bad choice and a bad execution of the lighting installation, it is essential that the investor is interested in what he will get as lighting level and quality. The question of whether it should be a linear lighting fixture or the so-called LED high bay luminaire is an important one, but does not exhaust the topic. The approach in which professional assistance is sought to perform an analysis of the “needs” and the specifics of the room, and that at an earlier stage of the project development, is what would lead to an optimal choice of a model of a lighting fixture, the necessary numbers of it (to achieve the set goals – levels of illumination, uniformity, mode of operation, etc.). When building such a building, regardless of its scale, our main advice would be to look for higher quality lighting fixtures. Higher quality fixtures are more expensive per unit price, but when implemented in a lighting project, they are always fewer in number than lower quality ones, and this can ultimately leads to the same final price. And the result with medium or high-class bodies is absolutely always better: longer life, higher yield, higher uniformity, lower consumption, easier assembly (disassembly), significantly fewer pieces that will be damaged during the warranty period!
